Surprise!!

Few days ago, a video of a boyfriend surprising her girlfriend with a limo ride and huge bouquet of flowers for her birthday went viral. Macam biasa, ada yg memuji, ada juga yg mengeji iri hati.

Personally, lantak pi la mamat tu nak buat apa, duit dier. Kalau aku jadik gf dia, aku terharu teruk kot. Memang la org kata, material jek sumer tu. Belum kawen boleh la, tunggu dah kawen sok. Tapi, mana tau, lepas kawen pun dia still rajin nak surprise2 bini dia, kan? Doa jekla yg baik2 utk mereka.

This remind me of a surprise I received years  ago..zaman2 muda remaja. Though the surprise was rather small scale la kan nak compare ngan limo ni. But still, surprise is surprise, aight?

So here goes. It was the last day of high school after SPM.. We were supposed to meet up at the bus station before I'm leaving for my hometown. Bas gerak kol 9, kol 8.30 dia tak muncul2 lagi. Zaman tu mana guna handphone lagi. Janji nak jumpa tu pun call guna public phone je. So I thought, well he's not coming la ni. Just when i was about to embark into the bus, then I  saw him . Walking slowly towards me, terhencot hencot, with a bouquet of flowers in his hand (Ya, memang cam dlm drama, just bear with it.. :P). Rupanya he was involved in accident. Jatuh motor. His friend patah kaki still in hospital. He himself pun kaki berbalut, but still gagahkan diri datang to meet me. Ko tak terharu? My feeling that time? Susah nak describe. Terharu sangat kot.

It's the gesture and how it made me feel that time yg membuatkan the event always have special place in my memory. I remember how my heart was beating too fast like never before. I remember how I need to control my mouth from not grinning ear to ear to hide my excitement.

It's been too long since I last have that kind of feeling. I mean, for one Mr.H was not keen on throwing surprises (though I doubt this.. From what I heard.. For his previous relationships.. He was quite capable of planning sweet sweet stuff for his girls.. ) Also, because i naturally have great instinct which subsequently will ruin any good planned surprises...haha..

But yeah..
